Liz & Keegan
in her own words…
“Keegan and I actually met at some point in elementary school. Life led us in different directions until about five years ago, when we started dating. With our first kiss, we had this shared epiphany that we were meant to be together. It was this sort of funny & crazy moment where all of a sudden, everything made sense. All the pieces fell into place.
Keegan proposed to me on my birthday after a day of hiking and soaking in hot springs in Central Oregon. We were staying at this incredible lodge on a lake and when we got back from our adventures, he suggested we go on a walk around the lake. The sun was setting when he knelt in front of me & asked me to marry him. It was such a peaceful and romantic moment between the two of us.”
THE PALMA GOWN | Liz never really identified as a "bride", so she had a feeling her dress might be different than the norm. She knew she wanted something beautiful, yet interesting & modern and was super open to trying gowns with patterns or colors. During the first day of shopping, Liz liked a lot of the dresses, but didn't feel quite like herself in any of them. The next day, Liz’s mom & sister came along for support. She decided to re-evaluate and browse through the racks again.
“When I first saw Palma hanging there, I touched it and said, ‘Ooooh, this one!’. Once I tried the dress on and looked in the mirror, I immediately knew this was it. You hear everyone say that you'll just know when you know, and although I didn't believe that, it totally happened for me! I love everything about this gown - the gorgeous detailing, open back, flutter sleeves, & the unique color I chose. I felt so completely comfortable and so completely myself all day.”
