Erika & Dan

10.13.17

Erika & Dan were married at the Mission Parish Basilica in San Juan Capistrano, where Erika grew up and went to grade school. Their outdoor reception at the Ocean Institute reflected such a big part of both Erika & Dan's families, and photos in the harbor were truly incredible.. The couple created little lounge areas around the property, including an amazing cigar lounge for all the guests to enjoy a few of the father of the bride's favorites.

in her own words...

"Dan & I met in college about 7 years ago. I was born and raised in Southern California, and he's an Air Force brat, moving around 15 times in his life. Somehow, we both ended up going to college in the middle of the country - University of Nebraska.

We ran in the same friend group, and being the Cali girl that I am, adored his shoulder length hair...something that is few & far between in the Midwest. We began running into each other and frequenting the same parties, started talking, and the rest is history!"

THE MAIA GOWN  |  The second Erika put on her dress, she knew it was the one. The simplicity & timelessness of it all...she just knew this would be the dress she would walk down the aisle and dance the night away in.

"There are SO many reasons I adored my gown. As silly as it sounds, one of my top 3 mandatory requests was to be comfortable! This gown allowed me to feel completely myself, just a more fancy version."
