Kayla & Benji

5.3.18

Kayla & Benji wanted their ceremony to feel intimate and really highlight the love they share. The couple decided to elope, with only their immediate family present. Kayla found Magnolia Plantation in Charleston, SC, on Pinterest and immediately knew it was the perfect spot. The tall oak trees covered in Spanish moss gave the venue such a romantic feel, and the couple was able to achieve the sweet fairytale vibe they'd been searching for.

in her own words...

"Benji & I have been loving each other for six years. We met in high school & immediately became inseparable. After graduation, I moved away for college and he left for a two-year mission trip.

When Benji returned home, I decided to move back as well & we picked up right where we left off. This past December, he proposed while we were looking at Christmas lights. After a five month engagement, we made our promise to love each other through all the years to come."

THE CELINE GOWN  |  Before trying on dresses, Kayla knew she wanted a simple, long-sleeved silk gown. As she walked up to her first boutique, she saw Celine on a mannequin in the window and immediately knew it was the gown for her.

"It was the first dress I tried on & I was mesmerized. It fit my body perfectly, hugging me in all the right places...and that neckline! Exactly the subtle sexy detail I was searching for."
