Lida & Will

Lida & Will decided on a winter wedding in a quaint village called Gretton, at Will’s family home. The couple had a heated marquee in the garden and decorated with Christmas trees, candles, & seasonal flowers. They asked that each guest bring a Christmas ornament, and hung them on the ‘wedding tree’. The couple now has loads of wonderful baubles from dear friends & family to use on future Christmas trees to come!

in her own words…

“Our lives collided in the city of Oxford. We were both new to the city and his sister (who happens to be a friend of mine from university), told me that her brother Will had just moved to the city and suggested we meet up. We arranged to meet for lunch and hit it off straight away. The day seemed to glide away from us; we didn’t stop talking & laughing all day. From that point on, we both knew we’d stumbled upon someone quite special.

Fast forward 8 years later, and we are on holiday in Tuscany. While sitting outside to enjoy a beautiful sunset, Will turns to me with a ring box. He swiftly grabbed my hand, slid down on one knee, and said some beautiful words about our future. I immediately said yes!”

THE SAWYER GOWN | Lida fell in love with Sawyer as soon as she saw a photograph. She adored the cape, and the delicate embellishments made it beautifully effortless. It was a brand new style and unfortunately, she would have to wait 4 months before it arrived in UK bridal shops. In the meantime, Lida tried on lots of dresses, but nothing quite lived up to Sawyer.

“When the day finally came to try it on, I traveled with my mum to Ghost Orchid Bride. I put it on and immediately knew I’d found the dress I wanted for my wedding day. I looked to my mother for her seal of approval, and the tears in her eyes clinched the deal. My dress journey was complete!”
