Margaret & Stefan

3.2.19

Margaret & Stefan live in NYC, and wanted a destination wedding where everyone could enjoy a little respite in the winter. They chose sunny Palm Springs, and spent the week leading up to the wedding hiking, swimming, & relaxing. The Ace Hotel was the perfect spot, and set the tone for a magical weekend with its hip vibes, great music by the pool, and delicious food. Margaret & Stefan both believe in ‘less is more’, and wanted to keep the wedding low stress…inspiration was pretty much just sunshine & simplicity. The backdrop of the mountains, paired with greenery and tropical florals, made for the most beautiful weekend.

in her own words…

“We have known each other for over 10 years, and actually met while working together in New York. Our friendship grew quickly…from playing co-ed soccer to exploring NYC, we realized we had so much in common. Travel & adventure have been a constant theme in our relationship. Stefan proposed at the end of a two week trip in Southeast Asia, on the beach in the Philippines…a country that was special to me because it’s where my grandparents met. It was beautiful.”

THE LUCY GOWN | The silhouette of Lucy was perfect for Margaret. She was looking for something elegant and timeless, and the sleeves elevated the look just the right amount.

“It was unlike any wedding dress I’d seen before, and I loved feeling unique on my wedding day. And I felt completely like myself, which is the most important!”
