Kristi & David

Kristi & David would describe their wedding aesthetic as industrial minimalist - they embraced the ‘less is more’ mindset. The Green Building is a raw, industrial warehouse with exposed brick walls and high, open ceilings. The couple incorporated string lighting, suspended greenery, and copper accents. The reception also had a non-traditional approach, with lounge seating that encouraged guests to move around the room, mingle, & dance. The night was capped off with churros (instead of wedding cake) and an empanada food truck for late-night eats.

in her own words…

“Believe it or not, we met on Tinder. I guess you could say I swiped right. Our first date was at a little coffee shop in Williamsburg and from that day on, coffee shop dates became our thing. Fast forward to one year & four months later - I looked down into my coffee cup one morning while we were together at home, and the words ‘will you marry me’ were written at the bottom.”

THE IRIS GOWN | It was important for Kristi to be true to her personal style and find a wedding dress that made her feel both confident and comfortable. Our Iris Gown did just that and more.

“It’s modern meets sexy. Simple but makes a very big statement. It made me feel like the very best version of myself.”
