Versatility & Reinvention

Designed with layering in mind, Sonnet offers brides the opportunity to create a variety of distinctive looks with ease. Whether they want to mix it up with multiple looks in one night or add an unexpected twist for a second ceremony, Sonnet is abundant with options for styling a single gown.

Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind,
And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.
— shakespeare, A Midsummer Night’s Dream

A tone of relaxed elegance is paired with couture details throughout the collection. Laser-cut 3D florals are plentiful and carefully hand-stitched onto delicate illusion tulle, complementing the more minimal gowns made of luxurious silks. Drawing on inspiration from seasons' past, previous silhouettes have been reintroduced, offering a refreshing take on the beloved styles. The additional overlay pairings deliver a delightful new perspective and a degree of flexibility.

From Alexandra…

"While designing our new collection, Sonnet, I was thinking about brides who have held smaller ceremonies during the pandemic and then went on to have larger celebrations months later. I wanted their gown to still feel exciting and new, even after several wears. Creating a collection that would offer our brides the opportunity to style their gown in a multitude of ways, constructing a novel and unique appearance with each layer added, really energized me."
