Alexandra Grecco launched her namesake bridal line in 2014 with a collection of sophisticated gowns that paired her refined design aesthetic with luxurious fabrics and intricate hand-embroidered details. Her pieces were quickly welcomed into boutiques around the world and adored by brides for their comfort and wearability.

The silhouettes, while both timeless and elegant, are balanced with a refreshing, modern twist appealing to the fashion-forward bride. With a love for texture and quality, Grecco favors using 100% silk crepe, in both a matte and satin finish, as the core fabrication throughout most of her line. The brand’s signature embroidery style, designed exclusively for AG, is all about rich dimensional layers and 3D florals that add a playful touch and unexpected whimsical elements.

Over the years, the Alexandra Grecco name has become synonymous with effortlessly romantic, heirloom-quality wedding gowns, thoughtfully designed and produced in NYC’s Garment District.

 
 

  • Our gowns and accessories are created and produced in NYC, sewn by our talented team and partners in the heart of the Garment District.

    Creating pieces in one location allows the AG studio team to develop and maintain close working relationships with the many individuals involved in the design and production process. Additionally, they are able to monitor and ensure that high quality standards are consistently met across the board, from garment construction to local factory conditions.

  • Since each gown is made-to-order, our pieces are never mass produced and every gown has a home to go to. This practice honors the significance of a bride’s gown and creates a “slow-fashion” company environment while eliminating the production of excess inventory and waste. After a gown is cut, we save the fabric remnants in order to repurpose them for our smaller accessories like headbands, belts, covered buttons, floral brooches and bridal bags.

    We work mainly with natural fibers such as silk, and aim to use recycled or sustainably sourced fabrics for anything else. We are actively sourcing suitable alternatives wherever possible, not only with the gowns we make but with the packaging we use and the supplies we fill our studio with.

Our pieces are designed to be cherished for years to come. Produced in the finest of fabrics, our styles are meant to be passed down between generations.

Whether it's the option to select from a variety of nude shades or flexible sizing that extends beyond a rigid chart, we want each AG bride to feel confident wearing the gown of their choice.

  • As a small but mighty team, we believe in fostering a safe, collaborative and creative workplace. The AG studio team is involved from start to finish and enjoy all the aspects that go into making each and every one of our pieces. Our NYC studio is lively and energetic, with members experienced in pattern making, cutting, sewing, embroidery, marketing, graphic design, photography, and all things creative.
